Writing the Sentence Workshop

The "Writing the Sentence Workshop" is a 3-week online course centered around the art of crafting powerful and impactful sentences. Taught by Odelia Chan, a freelance copywriter, AP Literature and Composition teacher, and published novelist, the course will explore the various elements that make sentences striking and memorable, drawing from sources such as literature, advertising and copywriting, and artificial intelligence.

Over the course of the workshop, participants will learn about the importance of sentences, their structure and form, and the use of different styles to convey meaning. Each week includes four daily lessons with response assignments, culminating in a project every Friday to reflect on what's been learned. The course is designed for anyone who loves and works with words, including artists, writers, and would-be authors. The cost is $195 per student, per workshop.
