Writing Lab

The online course offers writing instruction and skill development for 5th to 8th graders who have limited writing practice or struggle with writing quality in their subject-specific assignments. It utilizes students' upcoming or recent assignments from various subjects like literature, history, and science, focusing on editing, revising, and proofreading skills. The course teaches MLA formatting conventions and specific stylistic elements to enhance writing. While essay organization isn't the primary focus, it may be addressed mid-term if identified as a common issue. This is not supplementary tutoring for a specific writing class.
