Video Editing Basics

"Video Editing Basics" is an online course designed for high school students, though middle school students seeking a challenge are also welcome. This course instructs students in the fundamentals of video editing, including footage cutting, incorporating pans and zoom-ins, effects, audio, and storytelling. The syllabus is structured around six units, each building upon the previous. Students are required to submit a 30-minute video at the start and shorter projects at the end of each unit, culminating in a final project. Throughout, students use Wondershare Filmora software.
