Third Grade Literature

**Course Description:** This online course introduces grammar school students (ages 8-10) to renowned children's literature through guided reading of four classic works: 'Farmer Boy', 'Charlotte’s Web', 'The Moffats', and a poetry selection, using Memoria Press study guides. The program aims to develop active reading skills, focusing on vocabulary, spelling, comprehension, and composition. Students will read one book per quarter, with daily reading time varying per student. Course engagement and understanding are assessed through online quizzes and a quarterly enrichment activity submission, graded manually by the instructor.
