The Great Conversation 4 (H)

TGC 4 is an advanced-level English course designed for 10th grade students, focusing on a comparative study of ancient literature and biblical texts. It delves deeper into works from renowned authors such as Homer, Plato, Livy, and Virgil, contextualizing them alongside key events and ideas from Mesopotamia, Israel, Greece, and Rome. The course encourages discourse and critical thinking, with weekly assignments involving reading, discussion board posts, and paper writing, amounting to 3-5 hours of work per week.
