About this Course

The WTMA Summer Spanish Reading Club is a course designed for middle and high school students to practice their Spanish language skills and engage in reading and discussion during the summer break. The course meets once a week, and there are typically two sections offered: Lower (Beginning-Intermediate) for students who have completed Spanish I or II, and Upper (Intermediate-Advanced) for those who have completed Spanish III or higher.

The course does not have any formal written assignments, and attendance and participation in the weekly meetings is the only requirement. Students who attend all eight sessions will receive a WTMA Summer Reading Club t-shirt. Participation credit can be earned by attending the live class or watching the recording and completing a discussion board response based on a prompt given by the instructor.
