Spanish for Children B (MS)

This online course, Spanish for Children B, is specially designed for middle school students ready to build upon their initial Spanish learning. Over the course of a full school year, with classes twice weekly for 60-75 minutes each, students expand their vocabulary, increasing to over 250 new common Spanish words. They delve into intermediate grammatical concepts like complex verb conjugation, tenses, and gender-number agreement, enabling them to construct Spanish sentences accurately. The curriculum combines immersion-style dialogues and vocabulary, similar to the popular Latin for Children series, with a focus on grammar and parts of speech for comprehensive learning.

Prerequisite for this course is the completion of Spanish for Children A or an equivalent introductory course. It is suitable for students in the 5th to 7th grades, with a commitment to study 2-3 times per week outside of class time. Upon completion, students will have achieved a "functional beginner" level and can progress to MS Conversational Spanish or Spanish 2.
