Scholar’s Seminar: Literature at the Limits
About this Course
The Scholars’ Seminar: Literature at the Limits is a full-year course that challenges advanced rhetoric-stage students to engage in reading, discussion, and literary analysis of novels that explore unknown futures and the limits of humanity. Students will meet with the instructor twice a week for discussions that provoke critical thinking, as they examine the consequences of human actions such as manipulating truth, destroying the earth, taking advantage of others, disassociating from societal norms, and blurring the lines between man and machine.
