Russian I

"Russian I" is a beginner-level online course designed for high school students with little to no prior knowledge of the Russian language. Taught by Anna Owen on Wednesdays from 9 to 10 am CST, the course aims to help students earn a high school foreign language credit. The curriculum focuses on basic communication skills, foundational reading and writing, and understanding of Russian grammar through six cases. Additionally, students learn about Russian customs, traditions, and curious historical facts. Learning is facilitated through engaging activities such as role-playing conversations, games, and real-world text analysis.
