Russian 2 (US)

This online course, titled "Russian 2," is a continuation of Russian 1, focusing on expanding and solidifying students' understanding of modern Russian language. It balances rigorous learning with an exploration of the language's cultural and historical context, employing a mix of explicit grammatical instruction and interactive group activities. Students can expect to spend at least half of each lesson speaking Russian, immersing themselves in the language through activities such as conversation, using art as visual aids, reading texts, and even cooking Russian recipes. Homework assignments are designed to consolidate new material, and periodic oral and written quizzes assess students' progress.
