Rhetoric Writing III

This is a full-year course designed to build on the skills learned in Rhetoric II and prepare students for college-level writing. The course emphasizes advanced classical rhetoric techniques, sophisticated paragraph structuring, and analysis of both classical and modern essays. Students will also practice scholarly forms of writing to enhance their understanding. The course is the third in a three-year high school sequence at the Academy. A prerequisite of Rhetoric II is required, and prospective students may take a writing assessment to assist in course placement.
