About this Course

Rhetoric I is an honores-level online course designed to introduce 11th graders to the timeless art of rhetoric, the third element of the classical Trivium. Students explore the concepts and practical principles from ancient texts like Aristotle's Rhetoric and Quintilian's Institutio Oratoria, learning how to craft persuasive communication and critically analyze rhetoric in various historical contexts. Key topics include understanding rhetorical forms, applying principles in speeches and writings, and fostering stylistic expression.
