About this Course

The "Reading for the Logic Stage IA" is a full-year course that encourages logic-stage students to engage in reading and literary discussion at a relaxed pace. Students participate in a weekly class meeting with an instructor to discuss the week's reading, using provided prompts to guide the discussion. Learners also have the opportunity to facilitate discussions throughout the semester. This course is part of a three-level sequence, with RFLS IA being the initial course, aiming to foster a love of reading, expose students to a variety of texts, and lay the groundwork for literary analysis. The course moves at a slower pace than Level I, making it ideal for students who prefer a more leisurely reading experience.
