Quadrivium V-A

Quadrivium V-A is an introductory course in Classical Astronomy, distinct from its modern counterparts by emphasizing hands-on learning and naked-eye observations. Students are encouraged to build and maintain a ground observatory to study the Sun, Moon, stars, and constellations over several months. This lab-intensive course, though not heavily reliant on mathematics, focuses on learning astronomy as genuine science, aiming to understand the clockwork of the heavens and its purpose in marking times and seasons, as well as navigation.
