Primary Drawing 1 | Fall

This online course is an introductory art program designed for students in grades 1-3. The primary focus is on developing drawing skills, which the instructor emphasizes is a learnable ability like reading, writing, or math. The course aims to foster attention to detail and curiosity about the world by examining creation through drawing. It covers fundamental drawing techniques, spatial relationships, composition, line work, and introductory color theory. Students will learn from classical art masters like the Dutch masters and Audubon, and recreate their works. Creativity is encouraged with projects based on imagination.
