Poetry Corner

This is a yearlong online course focused on the study and appreciation of poetry. Students will explore various poetic elements while reflecting on cardinal and theological virtues. The class promises a collaborative and enjoyable learning environment, with activities such as in-class discussions, read-alouds, and "open mic" shares. Students will also maintain writing journals and commonplace books to record poems they've written, favorites, and personal reflections. The course aims to inspire students to create their own poetry and engage with supplemental projects, fostering a sense of wonder and connection to God's creations.
