Physics Literacy for the 21st Century

This online course, titled "Physics for Future Presidents," is designed for advanced high school students and lasts for 16 weeks. Taught by Richard Muller, the content is derived from his books "Physics for Future Presidents" and "Energy for Future Presidents," with optional supplemental material available in "Physics and Technology for Future Presidents." The course aims to equip students with crucial physics concepts, focusing on themes such as terrorism, energy sources and catastrophes, nukes, space, and global warming. These topics are intended to provide a solid foundation for understanding the world's technological and scientific advancements. The class includes weekly, 50-minute webinars, and students receive access to recordings in case they miss a session. Online resources and labs are also provided to allow students to delve deeper into subjects if they wish.
