Newspaper Club

The Newspaper Club is a one-semester course offered by WTMA for high school students. This club provides students with the opportunity to participate in the production of the school's online newspaper. As members of the newspaper staff, students will collaborate every other week for an hour to publish the monthly newspaper. Throughout the course, students will learn about ethics and best practices in journalism, as well as develop skills in areas such as writing and reporting, proofreading, editing, copyediting, photo editing, graphic and digital design, and production management. Students interested in submitting content for the newspaper can do so by sending an email to a designated address. Meeting times are listed on the registration page, with the first meeting confirmed via email at the start of each semester.
