Music II

This music course, a sequel to Music I, dives deeper into the study of Bach chorales. Students will expand their understanding and appreciation of melodic and harmonic structures through analyzing embellishments, modulations, and chromaticisms. The course intensifies analytical and compositional skills and incorporates advanced ear training, including keyboard exercises and harmonic dictation. It is taught by Rev. Jacob Benson.
