Middle School Russian 2

Middle School Russian 2 is a continuation course for students who have completed Middle School Russian 1. It aims to further develop students' functional communication skills in Russian and deepen their understanding of Russian culture. The course is designed to achieve the equivalent level of High School Russian 1 over two middle school years. It focuses on pronunciation, communication, and basic grammar, including questions, pronouns, and verb conjugations. Students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing, culminating in making presentations on everyday life and Russian life and culture. They learn to express basic information and will read simple paragraphs in Russian.
