About this Course
This course, titled "Media Literacy," is a one-semester exploration of various aspects of media, including its philosophy, psychology, history, politics, language, and more. Students will discuss current events, encounter diverse ideas, and practice decorum and respect in all interactions. The course requires active participation in weekly live classes, submission of assignments prior to class, and completion of weekly readings and videos. The final project is a 1500-2000 word argumentative essay on a media topic of the student's choice.
