Math Fundamentals 5

This online course focuses on expanding number sense and computation skills, as well as developing problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills. The curriculum covers topics such as four operations of whole numbers, place value, algebraic equations, multiplication and division of larger numbers, decimals, graphing, statistics, fractions, types of angles and polygons, area and perimeter, and volume. The course incorporates teacher-led discussions and small group work to deepen understanding and encourage ownership of the learning process. The curriculum used is a customized version of the highly-rated Math Mammoth curriculum and is specifically designed to prepare students for the Pearson math series used in subsequent algebra course.
