Latin Readings I-Prose

Latin Readings I – Prose is an advanced Latin course targeted at students who have already completed basic Latin grammar, forms, and vocabulary courses, equivalent to our Latin I-IV or a similar text like Wheelock's Latin. The main focus of this course is the unabridged Latin reading of Julius Caesar's De Bello Gallico, Book I. Additionally, students will receive instruction on the historical context, geography, and grammar specific to Caesar's text. The course is led by teacher Rev. Heath Curtis.
