Latin 1

"Latin 1" is an introductory online course designed for students from grades 7 to 12. It immerses students in the Latin language while exploring Roman culture and history. The curriculum focuses on fundamental aspects of Latin such as five noun declensions, four verb conjugations, and key vocabulary, helping students understand the foundations of the language and recognize Latin roots in English. The course aims to prepare students for proficiency in Latin by encouraging translation skills and has been designed to meet the requirements for the National Classical Etymology Exam, the National Latin Vocabulary Exam, and the National Latin Exam, with the course fee covering registration for these events.
