Language Arts Lab 8/9/10

The Language Arts Lab is a weekly add-on course designed to complement either Literature and Composition 8/9 or 9/10. This optional 60-minute session is led by Mrs. Cook and serves as a "virtual hangout" for students seeking individualized help with assignments, personalized writing conferences, and challenging literary skills. The lab provides a opportunity for students to collaborate with peers and receive reinforcement and enrichment of the concepts taught in the main course.

In addition to the weekly lab, students will also learn and practice time management and organizational strategies. The course is highly recommended for parents who wish to ensure their children acquire strong writing and reading comprehension skills for upper-level high school work.
