Language Arts 2 – Section A

This online course offers a comprehensive overview of World History, spanning over 5000 years from the emergence of River Valley Civilizations to the present day. It provides a global perspective, examining various cultures and civilizations, and explores common human experiences, societal origins, and pivotal historical moments. The course is structured around six periods, encouraging students to draw parallels between past and present while acknowledging cultural differences. It combines factual content, accounts of major civilizations, and primary sources to stimulate critical thinking and reflection on human nature, society, and actions. Upon completion, high school students may earn 1 History credit.
