About this Course

This is a one-semester online course titled "Kinesiology & Nutrition II: Nutrition and Healthy Choices for the Active Student." The course focuses on the fundamental principles of nutrition and making healthy food choices, particularly for students with active lifestyles. Topics covered in this course include recommended dietary guidelines, selecting, preparing, and serving nutritious foods, avoiding fad diets, planning meals for busy schedules, eating out, and making good choices in college cafeterias. This course does not have any prerequisites and can be taken independently from other courses in the Kinesiology & Nutrition series.
