About this Course

This is a one-semester online course that builds on the foundations of Algebra II, diving into more complex topics such as sets and logic, constructive counting, distributions, mathematical induction, Fibonacci numbers, recursion, conditional probability, and combinatorics. The course is designed to help students improve their problem-solving skills, with multiple attempts allowed and encouraged. It is not offered during the 2024-2025 school year.

The course has several prerequisites, including successful completion of Algebra II and a recommended background in counting and probability. Students who have taken Counting and Probability at WTMA or AOPS Introduction to Counting and Probability will be well-prepared for this course.
