Introduction to Computer Programming (Python)

This online course is designed for students with little to no experience in computer programming. Taught using Python, one of the most popular programming languages today, the course covers fundamental programming concepts such as pseudocode, algorithms, data types, variables, control structures, loops, functions, lists, objects, and more. The course includes weekly coding exercises, readings, and assignments from an online textbook, and a mix of practice and graded coding projects. The curriculum concludes with a module on Turtle, a drawing tool that allows students to apply their newly acquired programming skills in a fun and dynamic way. Students with significant prior programming experience or interest are recommended to consider the "Computer Programming in Java" course instead.
