About this Course

The course "Drawing for Observational Skills" focuses on educating participants on the technique of brush drawing, a method widely used by nature artists and illustrators. Over the duration of the program, students can expect to hone their observational skills, brush control, and manual dexterity. The curriculum is structured to cover three types of drawing: imaginative, observational, and memory drawing. Regular practice, both in-class and independently, is encouraged to complete projects and fully grasp the nuances of this artistic technique. This course does not aim to transform students into artists but rather equips them with skills to critically perceive and attend to the world around them.
