Horrible Romans and Egyptians

This interactive online course, "Life in Ancient Rome and Egypt: A Horrible Histories Journey," is designed for early middle school students. It's a semester-long program, with weekly 50-minute webinars and access to recordings for missed sessions. The course emphasizes storytelling through the Horrible Histories series, focusing on key periods and figures of ancient Rome and Egypt, including the Roman Kingdom, Republic, and Principate, the Egyptian Kingdoms, and significant historical events like the Spartacus slave revolts and the reigns of Julius Caesar and Cleopatra. It aims to instill a love for history and introduce critical thinking skills through primary source analysis. The course is supplemented by recommended Horrible Histories books, with optional additional titles also available.
