Honors English Literature & Composition 2

This is a full-year, honors level English course designed for advanced high school homeschoolers in the 10th grade and above. The course focuses on analytical reading, engaging essay writing, and literary analysis, covering works from Old English Beowulf to contemporary literature. The course is interactive and can be taken synchronously or asynchronously, with weekly text-based discussion forums and optional live check-ins. Students are expected to spend 8-10 hours per week and should have successfully completed a 9th grade-level English class as a prerequisite. The course is NCAA-approved and features a variety of resources, including grammar exercises and test-prep materials.
