Honors English Literature & Composition 1

This live online Honors English course is designed for advanced high school homeschoolers in the 9th grade and up. It focuses on analytical reading and discussion of literature, with students reading classics as well as contemporary creative fiction. The course aims to expand and reinforce foundational language skills, with a focus on nuanced grammar and punctuation. Weekly informal and formal writing assignments, including discussion forums and essays, allow students to express their views and opinions. Live weekly "check-ins" provide additional support and instruction.

The course is a full-year, live class, and the tuition is $850.
