About this Course

This is an Honors Biology course designed for STEM-interested high school students in grades 9-12. The course provides a comprehensive study of living organisms and the systems that make life possible on Earth. It covers topics such as cells, genes, microorganisms, plants, animals, human beings, and ecosystems. The course includes lab activities and is more in-depth and challenging than the standard Biology course.

The course is structured to include one 1-hour live Zoom class and four daily lessons per week. The live classes may review previous topics, introduce new ones, or cover case studies. Daily lessons include online introductions, textbook readings, and multimedia content. The course grants high school credit and requires students to spend about 30 minutes per day on coursework.
