About this Course

High School Spanish 3 is a semester-long course building upon Spanish 1 and 2. It aims to enhance comprehension, composition, and conversation skills. Students will review and expand their grammar knowledge, augment vocabulary, and study Spanish literature and cultures. The course focuses on various verb tenses, practical conversational skills, and independent reading and writing in Spanish. It includes 30 hours of live online instruction per semester, integrating reading, speaking, listening, and writing activities. Students are encouraged to take the National Spanish Exam, with provided practice questions and support.

The honors level course offers additional advanced reading and complex grammatical topics. It's recommended to supplement with Intercultural Spanish Conversation for pronunciation and conversation practice. Upon completion, students may earn 1 Language credit.
