High School Latin 1 – Section A

Latin 1 is a two-semester online course designed for beginners in Latin, suitable for students from Grade 7 to adult, or with instructor's permission. It covers the first three books of the Oxford Latin Course Part I. Course content includes basic grammar, such as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd declension nouns and adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions, verb conjugations, and indicative, infinitive, and imperative moods.

Upon completion, high school students may be awarded 1 Language credit, and those planning to take the AP Latin exam in their junior year are advised to begin this class in 7th grade.
