Henle Latin I, Units 1-5

This online course, suitable for students in grades 8-12 (ages 13-18), covers Units 1-5 of Henle's Latin I curriculum. It focuses on teaching five noun and two adjective declensions, emphasizing the understanding of the five main grammatical cases. The course also introduces present, imperfect, and future tenses of all four verb conjugations in the active indicative. Additionally, it includes short history readings. Students are expected to dedicate 45-60 minutes daily, with grades based on attendance, participation, weekly quizzes, and semester exams. Successful completion earns 1 high school credit. No prior knowledge is required, and students need the Henle Latin First Year Text, Henle Latin I Key, and Henle Latin Grammar, along with a USB headset microphone.
