Grammar Voyage/Caesar’s English II

The course offers an intensive, semester-long exploration of language and grammar, based on the works of Michael Clay Thompson. It combines his "Grammar Voyage" and "Caesar's English II" materials, usually taught over a year, into a single semester. The course format includes weekly live webinars, with recordings available for missed sessions. Students study parts of speech, sentence structures, phrases, and clauses through engaging videos and literature, practicing with interactive games and activities. A unique aspect is learning Thompson's four-level sentence labeling system. Additionally, students study vocabulary through great literature and write stories incorporating new words. The required books are Thompson's "Grammar Voyage" and "Caesar's English 2" student books.
