About this Course

This course serves as the culmination of Latin study at the grammar school level, preparing students for the next stage of their Latin education. It focuses on reinforcing and building upon the skills students have acquired in previous Latin courses, specifically Grammar Latin B or an equivalent level. Course topics include an in-depth exploration of Latin vocabulary, the fourth verb and noun declensions, adjective declensions, parsing and translating verbs, and identifying and labeling parts of speech. Students will also delve into reading short Latin passages and learning Roman history and culture through their Latin readers. The course is structured to require approximately 1-2 hours of weekly commitment for vocabulary memorization and grammar exercises. It is designed for students in the 6th grade.
