Grammar, Beginning

The online course, Beginning Grammar, focuses on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of sentence structure. Utilizing the Four-Part Sentence Analysis, students explore and study various components of a sentence, including parts of speech, sentence parts, prepositional phrases, clauses, and different sentence types. This method aims to enhance students' grasp of sentence structure, interrelations between words, and the overall sentence as a whole. Coursework consists of two weekly grammar exercises.

This standalone course serves as a crucial grammar component within Dr. Baumert’s Language Arts 2 class, which is recommended as a full course for comprehensive instructions in grammar, literature, and writing. However, it can also be taken independently, offering flexibility to students based on their specific educational needs.
