This intensive online course is designed as a complement to existing Literature & Composition classes for middle and high school students. It focuses on grammar, serving as either a concentrated review or an intensive introduction to advanced concepts. The course begins with an overview of Parts of Speech and Sentences, then delves into detailed studies of verbals, adjective and noun clauses, prepositional phrases, correlative conjunctions, and conjunctive adverbs. Students engage with weekly exercises from 'Voyages in English' and master Four-Part Sentence Analysis. This course is suitable for rising seventh and eighth graders enrolled in college-prep English courses who wish to enhance their writing skills through grammar, as well as high school students seeking a grammar review. Prerequisites include Dr. Baumert’s Language Arts 3 or Intermediate Grammar.
