German Two – Intermediate German

The course, German II, is a sequel to German I, designed for students who have a basic grasp of German sentence structure and can communicate about oneself and personal interests. Over the course of the year, students will delve into German culture and geography through project-based learning, read simplified Grimm's fairy tales, and expand their vocabulary and understanding of the past tense. The curriculum includes regular quizzes, projects, and take-home tests. Notably, the course is part of a two-year sequence using the same required texts.

German II is particularly beneficial for students interested in STEM fields, as German is a key language in science and finance. The course is equivalent to one credit hour and can be combined with subjects like Politics, Philosophy and Economics, Chemistry, or Physics for a comprehensive academic year.
