About this Course

The online course "German III" is a full-year course that builds on the foundation laid in German II. It covers topics such as correcting false statements, discussing films and books, talking about changes over time, comparing countries, and discussing strengths and weaknesses. The course will also teach students the grammatical structures needed for these communicative tasks. It is designed with a focus on the World-readiness Standards for Learning Languages from the ACTFL, including Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities. The course does not offer a delayed section, as live interaction is crucial to learning a new language. It is recommended that students have completed Grammar III or take a German III Placement Test to ensure they have the necessary grammar foundation.
