About this Course

The online course "German II" is a full-year course that builds on the foundation established in German I. Over the course of the year, students will learn how to discuss topics such as shopping for clothes, emotions, foods and traditions, and films in German. The course will also cover the accompanying grammatical structures needed to communicate these concepts. The course aligns with the World-readiness Standards for Learning Languages from the ACTFL, focusing on Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities. It is recommended that students have completed German I and have a strong understanding of grammar rules, specifically Grammar II, to enroll in this course. A placement test is available for students who have not completed Grammar II.
