German 3 Language and Culture (Honors)

German 3 is a continuation of the German language course, building on the foundation established in German 1 and 2. The course focuses on expanding students' communication and comprehension skills in a dynamic and interactive virtual classroom setting. The curriculum covers topics such as health and personal care, daily life in a modern German city, careers and jobs, and the natural world. These themes enable students to enhance their proficiency, learn new vocabulary and grammar, and solidify their grasp of previously acquired vocabulary and grammar.

Students can expect to improve their comprehension and discussion skills through various written and audio texts. Active participation in weekly class sessions is required, with additional support provided by weekly homework activities in the online workbook. The course is suggested to be paired with the German Language and Culture Club for extra cultural activities and conversational practice.
