German 2 Language and Culture (Honors)

The German 2 course, following German 1, is designed to further develop students' proficiency in the German language. Taught in a lively and engaging classroom setting, the course covers speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, and includes weekly culture highlights and special projects to provide insights into German culture. By the end of the course, students should be able to handle short social interactions, write short paragraphs on familiar topics, and discuss past events in German.

The course is offered in two levels: standard and honors, with the latter involving a higher level of proficiency due to additional live class sessions and speaking opportunities. Students are encouraged to consider enrolling in the German Language and Culture Club to complement their learning and enhance their conversational skills and cultural understanding.
