French 2 Language and Culture (Honors)

This online course focuses on teaching French as a foreign language, using an academic curriculum and various multimedia resources. It is designed for high school students with varying proficiency levels, from those seeking to fulfill college foreign language requirements to those aiming to reach AP French level. The course reviews the three verb families in present and past tenses, and goes on to introduce reflexive verbs and additional tenses such as the imperfect, future, subjunctive, and conditional. Vocabulary topics include family, friends, celebrations, school, shopping and cooking, daily routines, country life, camping, health, vacations, and leisure activities, and more. Through the course, students will explore different French-speaking countries and their cultures.
