Fourth Form Latin
About this Course
This course, Fourth Form Latin, is the continuation of a comprehensive Latin language program, designed to build upon the foundations laid in the First, Second, and Third forms. It methodically introduces new grammar, including relative and indefinite pronouns, deponent verbs, irregular verbs, and more, alongside a thorough review of previously taught material. The course heavily emphasizes translation skills, syntax, and Latin idioms, with the ultimate goal of enabling students to understand Latin authors in their original language. With a time commitment of 60 minutes daily, students' progress is assessed through participation, weekly quizzes, and a final exam. Interactive sessions encourage students to recite in class and require them to have a USB headset microphone, although built-in microphones also function.
