Entrepreneurship 1 | Spring

The course "Entrepreneurship 1" at True North Academy is designed for high school students, providing an in-depth exploration of the entrepreneurial mindset and the fundamentals of starting and running a successful business. Over one semester, students will delve into what it means to think like an entrepreneur, studying famous entrepreneurs through case studies, and covering essential topics such as goal setting, business planning, financial literacy, marketing, and philanthropy. The course offers a project-based learning approach, fostering practical experience, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Students will also develop crucial skills for launching and managing a business, including creating compelling business pitches.

Upon completion, students can earn half credit towards their high school education. This course is ideal for those interested in controlling their work experience, earning potential, location, and work environment, and for leaving a lasting legacy through entrepreneurship.
