"Entrepreneurship 1" by True North Academy is a comprehensive, project-based course designed specifically for high school students. It trains them in the entrepreneurial mindset, helping them think innovatively, resiliently, and strategically. Students explore real-life examples of successful entrepreneurs, learning from their strategies and setbacks, and develop a solid understanding of starting and running a business. Topics covered include goal setting, business planning, financial literacy, marketing, and philanthropy. They also learn to address real-world challenges with guidance from experienced educators.

Upon completion, students become equipped to control their own work experience, earning potential, and work environment. They gain skills to build businesses that can leave a lasting legacy and thrive in the evolving gig economy. The course requires the use of "The Big Startup Guidebook for Kids," a principle-based approach to entrepreneurship.
